Thoroughbredz Returns for “First Pour on the Patio”

The return of Saratoga racing season also means the return of a fan favorite at Forno Bistro. Thoroughbredz is back for Summer 2026, and this year’s release is bigger, bolder, and brewed with even more Saratoga spirit.

Crafted in collaboration with Wolf Hollow Brewing Company as part of the Helping HanDZ initiative, this year’s Thoroughbredz is a crisp Czech-style pilsner created to celebrate the racing season while supporting the people who keep Saratoga’s backstretch running every day.

To kick off the release, Forno Bistro will host a special Thoroughbredz First Pour on the patio on Wednesday, May 20th from 4PM–6PM. Guests can enjoy tastings of the new brew, light bites, and appearances from Hall of Fame jockey Ramon Domínguez and legendary race caller Tom Durkin.

This year’s release also debuts a brand-new custom racing-inspired can design, making Thoroughbredz just as eye-catching as it is refreshing.

Guests are encouraged to stay after the tasting event and enjoy dinner at Forno Bistro, where 25% of all dinner sales that evening will directly benefit B.E.S.T. (Backstretch Employee Service Team Saratoga). The organization provides support and resources for the hardworking backstretch community that plays such an important role during Saratoga’s racing season.
